As part of their continued drive to improve accessibility to the services they provide Redbridge Council are experimenting with Chatbot technology and implementing Cleansing chatbots that will enable customers to receive the information they are after in a far more accessible way without the need to speak to someone. Finding out simple information or booking an appointment should be simple and that is exactly what the council is aiming to achieve. This technology could be extended to webchat and opens the doors to experimenting with additional current technology as we move with the trend in using AI technology, enabling us to serve more customers in a way they prefer.
