Like many other councils, Gateshead Council has signed up for the TUC’s Great Jobs Agenda which aims to provide jobs which pay fairly, provide a safe and healthy workplace, treat employees decently with guaranteed hours, allow employees a voice on what matters at work, and provide them with a chance to get on in life.
